Acacia Williams is a 2022 graduate of the University of Florida. She majored in African American studies. Post-undergraduate study, Acacia worked for 2 years as an occupational therapist. In 2025, Acacia applied and was accepted to the PhD program at George Washington University for occupational therapy. As an occupational therapist, she will help people who have physical, sensory, or cognitive problems to regain independence in performing routine daily tasks. She expects to receive her doctorate degree in 2028. Acacia grew up in Rock Hill, New York.
Ananda Parris
Ananda Parris is a 2021 graduate of Binghamton University, and was a four-year Fellas College Scholarship recipient. Her undergraduate degree was in Human Development with a minor in Spanish. In 2025, Ananda then received her Masters in Social Work from New York University in 2024. She has a particular interest in psychotherapy and working with children, adolescents, and parents to address mental health and psychosocial needs. Ananda grew up in Ossining, New York in Westchester County.
Geidily Beaton, M.D.
Dr. Geidily Beaton is a 2023 graduate of the Sophie Davis Biomedical Program at the CUNY School of Medicine, receiving a combined BS/MD after an accelerated 7 years of study. She then began her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at New York University, and is currently in her third year. She has a particular interest in Women’s health and racial disparities amongst various disease processes and their diagnosis/treatment/prognosis. In this regard, Dr. Beaton recently had a significant abstract accepted at the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons (SGS) 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting (see link below to view). Geidily grew up and went to high school in Queens, New York.
